Macro photography and floral minutiae have been a passion of mine for a long time; I love being able to use my camera to capture the finer details of the world that often go unnoticed and share them with the people around me. This exhibition is intended to highlight the shape and form of flowers and insects alike and present them in a unique light. I hope my photos inspire their audience to stop and contemplate the brilliance of the natural world for a little while; I think we often forget that beauty exists because we don't take the time to look for it.

I’m a 22 year old nature photographer from the Blue Mountains who first stumbled into photography around 6 years ago. I’ve been sick for a long time and when I was 16 I decided I needed a hobby that wouldn’t demand too much from me; photography presented itself and I’ve been in love with it since.
Over the past few years I’ve dabbled in various forms of photography – people portraiture, architectural and landscape photography, animal portraiture – but ultimately macro photography is what inspires and captivates me. I love being able to take the time to explore an area with my camera and document the world as I see it through my lens; I think it’s a remarkable thing to be able to capture a scene and present my interpretation of it in a unique fashion.
When I’m not absorbed with photography, I spend time working on my media communications degree, hanging out with friends, blogging, watching Pixar films, enjoying my dogs’ company and reading comics.
