Plat du jour

The French really do have a word for everything, and plat du jour refers to a restaurant’s specially prepared dish of the day. ArtHouse’s plat du jour’s goodness is right there on the label. For only $35 you dine on three courses of mod Oz cuisine in the Dome Restaurant. Sample menu: carpaccio of Tasmanian eye fillet with aged balsamic; duck risotto with baby leeks and pecorino; and an Eton mess with macerated strawberries for dessert. Bon appetite!
